The drive is pretty easy and the roads are good. The distance has been shortened too with the opening of the Red Hill valley Pkwy which cuts the corner through Hamilton and avoids Burlington.
Take the QEW from Niagara and exit at the RHV Pkwy. It is a bit uphill but is 3 lanes for the steeper portion. It turns into the Lincoln M Alexander Pkwy at the top and takes you to Hwy 403. Take the 403 west where it joins Hwy 401 at Woodstock. There is a bit of bridge construction near Brantford, down to 1 lane, but shouldn't have any real delays. The 401 will meet up with the 402 at London. Bridge delays at Sarnia aren't usually too bad (20-30 mins), maybe less today with reduced cross border shopping in the poor dollar days.
