Thanks for the replies, we are excited to go a bit farther north. Looks like 395 is the way to go. I would like to head north from our house (Chino Hills) to Mammoth and camp there on the way, but fear the drive will be too long for our kids (6 hours)? Any nice campgrounds approx. 4 hours up 395?
