Trip to Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper: advice?

We don't have a toad. Can pull a trailer with a scooter but it would create some challenges when we take a ferry to Vancouver Island...increases the cost a lot. May just have to drive the MH to points of interest...wish the gas mileage was better ;'-). I will check out car rental at Banff.
We considered Tunnel Mt II because temperatures at night might get a little cool and some electric heat would be nice. I will look at other options.
I like the idea of taking a bus to points of interest if there are tours that do that. We will take the bus to Banff, thanks for the suggestion. May just leave the bikes at home. I believe we can walk to Lake Louise from the Campground. Don't know if we could make it to the tea house, but around the lake sounds great.
We certainly want to see the Chateau Lake Louise. Perhaps a cup of coffee and a pastry? The Post Hotel dinning sounds grand and a little intimidating. Don't know if my wallet is that big ;-), We may need to settle for hot dogs and beer.
