Trip to Troncones

Ayudeme por favor , I am taking a client to Troncones in October. I have never driven to that part of the coast

I will be driving the truck and pulling a trailer. I am coming from Mcallen, staying the first night in Matehuala at Las Palmas. I am looking for route suggestions from there and a good place to spend the 2nd night with parking large enough for me.
