Truck stop in Page,Az?
Will be passing through Page,Az next week and will need diesel,internet shows no truck stops. Can anybody tell me if there is a big rig friendly fuel stop available? Maybe I should just stay on I-15 and 40 to Flagstaff.

- Ok,back to the original plan. We'll take that detour and enjoy the ride. Leaving West Yellowstone Thursday and heading for southwest New Mexico. Work camping,we're loving it. Thanks
- Yep, the detour is good road. Was just on it last week. I thought Page was a nice town and enjoyed our stay there. Didn't have the time to stay but for 1 night but would consider a longer visit in the future.
- Since they opened 89T, the main group that remains inconvenienced by the landslide are those who regularly traveled between Page and Marble Canyon (on 89A) - especially businesses and residents at Lees Ferry.
- Don't think you have to stay on the interstate because of Hwy 89 south being closed. The detour is very well signed, it's an excellent newly paved road and runs approximately parellel to the original Hwy 89. No big hills.
Fuel: Lake Powell Convenience/Shell - 901 N. US Hwy 89 (no road closure at this point - it's much further south), 928-645-5998. It was $3.82 yesterday. Behind it is a Pacific Pride Truck Stop.

The whole route is a beautiful drive into Flagstaff. Go for it! - I agree with TucsonJim. I took 89T northbound a couple months ago. I was thinking...wonderful, now I don't have to climb the mountain! Really don't think it took any longer than the landslide route. I would stick with going through Page. Nice scenery and easy roads. Sounds like you won't have time to spend a day or two in Page to see Antelope Slot Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, etc. Too bad.
- Actually, the detour route is better than the old route in my opinion. When the landslide occurred, they graded and paved this old dirt road and brought it up to modern standards. There are less grades to deal with than before. There really isn't a need to divert at all.
- Thanks Dr Quick,road closed because of landside. Won't be able to take the shorter route. I'll stay on interstate.
- We were in Page about a week ago, and remember the Shell station, it was at 89 and Copper Canyon Road.
Also 89 from that point south was closed at the time, but I do not know the reason, - The route south will actually 89T. But that should be well signed.
- The Shell station at 901 Hwy 89 has easy access for rigs like yours. They offer diesel at the outer pumps, and if I remember correctly, there are pumps behind the station too.
