When planning a trip I know about how many miles I can go before it is time for fuel. I have found that Google map is great I find the area that is where I need to fuel up do a search in map for service stations find some that are in the area and then do a satellite view and a street view. After finding the station that I will want to use plug the address into the GPS.
To me that is part of the fun of planning a trip.
