Tucson down to Texas. San Antonio, Corpus & Houston

Hi all We are over here from the UK and are currently in Tucson (lovely warm days mmmm). My Wife and I have both always wanted to visit Texas. Looking at the map, the places we would like to see are...

You should think about making a loop to see the sights (but there's nothing to see/do in Houston so don't go that far - sorry, Houstonians!).
Must do (going) Carlsbad Caverns, San Antonio river walk, Port Aransas, Padre Island, Corpus Christi.
Must do (returning) Seminole Canyon, Judge Roy Bean, Big Bend Nat'l Park (at least 3 nights), Fort Davis, McDonald Observatory.
Look these up, firm up your intended sightseeing and we can help with campgrounds.
