"Twilight" dentistry in Mexico?

Hey Everyone,

I wonder if anyone has any experience with dentists in Mexico that offer dental work under partial sedation?

The dentist here calls it "twilight" sedation. You aren't completely "out" but relaxed enough to make it tolerable for a panzy like me :)

    May I offer a suggestion?

    Check with your USA doctor first. Tell the doctor exactly what you have in mind. Remember, normal everyday Novocaine contains Epinephrin. Can be DEADLY for folks with cardiac issues. Novocaine without Epinephrin is NOT available in Mexico and no Mexican dentist has experience with the vastly different dosage protocol.

    Your USA doctor could offer advice as to the proper sedation medications and dosages custom tailored for you. An MP3 and earbuds really helps me. Turn the volume way up :)
