You should be OK as long as you follow some simple precautions. If in doubt contact Ted White. His email is on that page. We have taken late model diesels on caravans that are twice as long as that section of Baja without issues when people follow the precautions. If you have a Ford or Chev, consider getting an Edge tuner that can force a regen on the DPF filter. The info is there. When I wrote that page there was not one that was for a Dodge, but Dodges are less susceptible to issues with this.
