Having made 20+ trips on the Alcan, admittedly when it was a rougher road than now, I always figured that achieving 50 mph over the course of a driving day was outstanding.....that was year-round, winter, summer, construction, etc.
I've made the trip from Ewe-ston to Los Anchorage in something like 7 days by myself (decades and lots of hair ago) and have beaten that by a day or so with a spare driver....but that was when the trip was nothing and the destination was everything.
Your call, obviously, but I think your timeframe makes for a not-enjoyable time in Alaska....and to get back to your original request, I don't think you'll be in AK long enough where it is worth towing up a vehicle, regardless of the type. You'll be able to see most of the sights with/from your "C" and with a limited # of days in AK, it's not worth the beating on a toad.
All opinion of course, but I'd really consider flying up and spending more time in AK.
