Upper Peninsula, Michigan travel in July

We spent about 2 weeks in the U.P. last July during the same time period. We really enjoyed Woodland Park in Grand Marais on the shores of Lake Superior. We never made reservations and there were plenty of sites available, although it does get busier on weekends. Check out the Lake Superior Brewing Co. downtown. Take supplies as there is limited grocery available.

Michigamme Shores, about 40 miles west of Marquette has full hook ups and is right on the lake, a very BIG lake.
