Upper Peninsula, Michigan travel in July

We just returned from 2 weeks. Louisville, KY to bear cave RV park just inside the MI border where we stopped and visited Holand, Mi for a couple of days. Great little town and a wonderful exhibit. On to St. Ignace, MI and several days on Mackinaw Island. Sitting on the Grand's porch sipping a cold drink and pitting your lawn Shair out in the Huron to catch an evening breeze isn't to be missed. On to and through the UP as it was in the 90's and to hot for more than sitting in the Michigan and swatting mosquitoes. We left the UP more knowledgable and plan to go early or late next trip. We drove down to the Wisconsin Dells and found ourselves in Las Vegas. Well almost. We visited a lot of small towns and found some wonderful cheese at Carr's not 35 Moses out of the Dells. Lovely trails for hiking, good fishing and a great time. We stayed at Arrowhead RV park and recommend it if your bringing a family and or kids. We spent a lot of time down in Madison and loved it. The final evening we stayed in Remington, IN at the Caboose and loved their park. Our only regret was poor timing and too much heat. We will do better next time. Thanks to all for your help.
