Don't know your driving habits/speeds, so would guesstimate about 7 hours pulling a trailer. Less than 6 hours in a car.
Remember this is open range country. Livestock has the right of way!
OP would have to take 95 I think to get to Winnemucca. That would be way out of his way. Much better to stay on 395 to Reno.
