US-95 between Las Vegas NV and Falon NV
I thought this was going to be a lonely road. There arent many towns along the way but there was a good amount of cars, RV's and trucks. The road surface most be the best in the nation

Nope, it was planned to avoid confusion when the interstates were being setup.
They stayed with the odd numbered highways N/S and even E/W, but purposely numbered the interstates west to east and south to north. And the original plan was that interstates would only be numbered in intervals of 10, but we have gone far beyond the original National Defense Highways.
