If you're driving a larger RV, I would avoid hwy 14A.
Hwy 14 itself is a good road and will take you over Granite Pass, just over 9,000 ft elevation. In mid June there may still be some residual snow laying on shaded north facing slopes. New snow at 9000 ft in mid June isn't normal, but freak storms can drop snow in the high country any month of the year.
