USRoute 20 vs I-90 New York.

Something to keep in mind-what you save in tolls may very well be eaten up in extra gas cost.

The transponders are all the same internally.

You don't need two transponders just get one for your truck. The toll booths read your axles and adjust your classification based on that.

I have spent part of today trying to figure this motor home discount out. I even called EZ-Pass but they weren't much help. I want to set up a new EZ-Pass account as I don't have one.

I have a dually pickup and 5th wheel. On the phone they told me I need 2 tags - one when towing and one when not towing. As far as I can tell the online application doesn't allow me to set up an account for a dually over 7,000 pounds gross weight (I know the truck is more than 7.000). And then to request a second tag. And then the motor home discount - is it applicable to trailers?

I've done it - Never again - might have averaged 20-25 miles per hour - the lights are timed to stop every car!!!! this was the most painful side road I have ever driven on.
