We've been across UT14 several times, it's a good road to travel with plenty of room for most of the road. Yes there are couple of section that have some greater than 6% grade, just use common sense for those grades.

When driving any road common sense should always be your co-pilot.

We couldn't take 9 because we are to long so we went 14 and it was a beautiful drive.

If you can handle CA2 out of the LA Basin, you can handle UT14. :)

X2 - Very steep grades and curves, but not prohibited. According the UT dept of highways, loads over 8-1/2 feet wide require a pilot vehicle. Loads over 12 feet wide or longer than 65 feet are prohibited at all times.
