On 14, going east from Cedar City, you will climb from aboot 5800ft elevation to just short of 10000ft at the highest. Curvy, 2 lane, good pavement. If you're good with that type of road, it is a great drive!! Much easier going down toward hwy 89. Went east to west pulling a 28ft trailer 3 yrs ago, didn't have any problems, but going down the west side into Cedar City required some skill on the brakes!!
It is a neat drive, and (again!), if you are comfortable with twisty, up and downhill driving in your rig, you should be fine. 89 north is a piece of cake!!
