Utah 39

i have to travel Utah 39 from Huntsville to US 30 in Wyoming en route to Jackson Hole.
Anny problems with a 34 ft 5th wheel?
  • My Mountain Road directory says that this road is mostly good, but passes through a 5 miles long canyon that is curvy and very narrow with rock cliff on one side and concrete curbs on the other and is just barely wide enough.
So that sounds not so good to me. Sorry.

When are you planning the trip?

UT 39 from Huntsville to Woodruff is closed for the winter, usually opened my memorial day depending on snow depth. It's not a bad road, some turns and switchbacks, the summit is around 8980 feet.

  • You should be fine.

The hardest part is the 7 miles between Ogden and the Pineview dam on your way to Huntsville, this is the narrow twisty road that TexasShadow mentioned.
