If I were doing Valdosta to Birmingham I would take US-84 thru Dothan, or US-82 from Tifton to Montgomery. Then up to B'ham.
Thanks. We're actually staying at Whitten park now, indeed it was about the only option. Very nice park, though. Heading out here in a little while, to hopefully get to West plains, MO later this afternoon.
Good idea on using route 82 from Tifton to Montgomery. I went I 75 to I 20 on the way up here yesterday, may try 82 when we go back.
