Lake Louise can be done in one night, but Banff should have at least 2, preferably 3. Vancouver is a beautiful city and I would spend a 2-3 nights there. People are friendly, city has a lot to see and do, is clean, and very cosmopolitan. Taxis are cheap and plentiful, so park the car and ride the cabs.
