Another option up by the Columbia Icefields is Waterfowl Lakes, but no reservations there.
Agree with cancelling Lake Louise. Just get three nights at Johnston Canyon which is centrally located between Lake Louise and Banff Townsite. Or, try to get a site at Two Jack Lakeside which is more convenient to the town of Banff. We find Tunnel Mountain too busy for our tastes.
I thought Two Jack Lakeside was tent camping only?
