There are some parts of the Trans Canada that are the equivalent of 65 MPH (110 KPH), but you'll find 50 to 60 MPH (80 to 100 KPH) equivalents off that main highway. From Jasper to Banff, the fastest you'll probably see is 45 MPH equivalent (70 KPH). Plan your travel times accordingly.
