A viable pairing would be:
1 to Kamloops, 5 and 16 to Jasper
return via
1 through Yoho, Glacier and Mt Robson
south to Vernon and Kalowna
97c (?) to Merrit and 5 to Hope
You'd only overlap on the Vancouver to Hope leg.
Another return route would be Calgary south to Hwy 3 (Crowsnest), and take
3 all the way back to Hope (with possible detour through Nelson). There's lots to see and do in the SE part of BC.
