Victor, ID to Rawlins, WY - Best route?

What ReneeG says! We do the pass with just our dually crew cab several times a summer. We have seen way too many motorhomes/toads and trailers with pickups coming into Wilson with smoking brakes.

Do not take what google maps recommends by going over Teton Pass from Victor, instead go over Pine Creek Pass (much lower in elevation) via hwy 31 to 26 to Alpine Junction, then 89 along the Snake River to Hoback, then 191 to Rock Springs, the catch 80 to Rawlins.
