Victoria Day Weekend - Who's camping?

We'll be off to our seasonal campsite at Ausable Chasm in upstate NY.

Working over the weekend. Heading out Monday for just one night at a local provincial park.

We will be at Rideau Acres in Kingston with 70 families.
This will be our third weekend out so far this year.

We were going to Kitsault but the gate into the property is still locked. Till mid-June, I am told.

We plan to head out for weekend #3.

First trip was to Liard Hotsprings on the AK Hwy at Easter with the fifth wheel.
Second to Faro YT for the Crane & Sheep Festival first weekend in May, fifth wheel again.
Third will maybe see us in Haines AK. Maybe Kluane Lake. With the truck camper.

How ironic it is that we camp more in the "off-season" now that we live in Yukon than we did when we lived on Vancouver Island. Cold with sun is much better than damp overcast with rain!

We have daylight to midnight now, so lotsa time to sit around the campfire in the evening!

Yup - we are off to Fort St. John for a dog show. Should be 30 or 40 rigs boondocking in the parking lot of the community centre in Taylor, just south of Fort St John.
Always fun and lots of social time at a show.

We are! Can,t pass on a long weekend, we are trying anew to us place in Godrich On.
Went to a Koa last weekend in the snow, heater worked great :B Enjoy

Not us, the fireworks cause too much stress for members of the family. BUT, we will be around the corner from you for 2 weeks in August at Fundy park!
