Visa & Wal Mart
They just announced that on July 18, Wal Mart Canada will phase in non acceptance of Visa! Guess they were squabbling about the merchant fee.

I agree with you Sue, to me the 'tap & go' card is a recipe for disaster but then I'm not a techie by any means. I really like the security of the regular chip/pin cards.
My bank now issues both Visa and Master Card credit cards with the same points perks so I think it's just a matter of time before before Visa relents on their retailer rates for premium cards which is where the issues lie.
