When traveling with a motor home and toad, is it better to stay on the mainland and use the toad for site seeing or take the motor home to the island by ferry? Is there good camping on the island?

Take both vehicles to Vancouver Island, check rates for BC Ferries and the Washington State Ferries for the best rate. WSF offers a 50% discount for motorhomes. It is usually cheaper to drive each on separately than together for the best rate.
