I know there is lots more to see but these are the stops for this trip as we need to be back by Oct 31.
Does anyone have any concerns with the plan that I am unaware of ?

Unless you have things to do or see in the downtown LA district it is much better to turn east at Ventura to Mojave and back road it to I-15.
