I always try to drive the posted speed limit. Doing so in the right lane, I kept having cars come roaring up on me to get around traffic in the left lanes.
I have that happen on my commute to work all the time in my car. I do the speed limit (sometimes slightly above), stay in the right lane, and for some stupid reason drivers want to tailgate ME to get around the people blocking them on the left. It's infuriating, but I just have to take a deep breath, slow down a little (just a couple of mph and I would never brake check) so I'm not pacing the left lane campers if needed, and let them finally figure it out. I shouldn't have to adjust my speed at all in the right lane. I'm where I'm supposed to be.
In my truck, I don't even worry about it. It's stupid that sometimes I can only see the top of the roof of the guy behind me. I'd be really mad if they hit my hitch if I had to do an emergency stop.
