Getting ready for the annual three months in Mexico. Any suggestions for books about Mexico?

I have enjoyed People's Guide to Mexico by Carl Franz. This book has been out for quite a while. Many stories about his travels along the back roads-many humorous, also practical. Another dated, but enjoyable book is The Baja Feeling by Ben Hunter.
