Canadians have a different attitude when it comes to any foreign exchange. We have been shafted over exchange rates with the USA since the Canadian Dollar became the official currency. The Canadian dollar drops by 1 % and big box stores raise prices by 10%. But when the Canadian $ becomes stronger prices remain high. So saving a few $ on exchanging monies becomes a game. Part of the culture. Remember Canadians are very thrifty ( some would say cheap)!
