Just back from Tijuana, and some of the news is shocking.
The first ATM we came to was at HSBC on Calle Revolucion. Decided to think big since we have a $1000. US daily withdrawal limit, and put in a request for 15,000p. It gave it to us!!!!!!!!!! Total fee, including tax was 33.35p. The exchange rate was 15.369. Guess that settles it.
I sincerely doubt that many ATM's will give that much in one transaction, but we have taken out a lot at Santander in TJ in the past too.
