May 17th to 19th is the first long weekend of the season here in Canada (for most of us anyway)This is often the first real camping trip and a chance to dust of the equipment.So, share your plans.We are headed to Pine Cone Campground near Sussex NB. It's a small cozy place but clean and well maintained. Kind of a trip down memory lane for us as this was the first place we camped with our brand new hard top 20 years ago when our four kids were still kids. We still go there at least once per year and it hasn't changed much.Safe travels

Niagara Falls KOA......I know its lame, but the grandkids like it there, lots to do....and wifey likes that damn casino.....lol

We are off to a rally for Family Campers and RVers near Stratford Ontario. Weather sounds horrible! Also wondering about parking on soggy wet grass and the possibility of getting stuck after all the predicted rain + the heavy rains over the past couple of days. Oh well - will worry about that later in the weekend.Hope everyone has fun and be sure to be alert and drive carefully.

Staying home to finish repairing the fiver. Roads will be gridlocked on first long weekend of summer and weather won't be great anyway.

Heading to Osoyoos, Beautiful British Columbia for a Newmar Kountry Klub rally with 22 other Newmar owners. The weather is going to be great with high today of 30C cooling to 28C over the weekend. Have a great long weekend everyone.

Darien Lake with the kids, the weather looks like it's not going to be horrible, But I called changed to a pull through with a pad just to be safe.

spent the long weekend in my nice peaceful back yard, no drunken lunatics to spoil my enjoyment of the the few minutes of nice weather.

May 2/4 was spoiled for me years ago, with the stupidity that is flagrantly displayed throughout our parks, its like the first snow fall and everyone forgets how to winter drive, only with camping.

We are heading out to Kentucky for 2 weeks of touring Horse Farms & Bourbon Distilleries and whatever else we can find.

We are going to fool everyone & stop at a town park far from any mountains. Hopefully when the crowd is heading out of the mointains we will be going in on sunday or monday. Thats the plan.
