You can reserve Whistlers, Wapiti, Wabasso and Pocahontas campgrounds on-line at www.reservation.parkscanada.gc.ca or by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
The same phone number will work for Banff campgrounds also. - prstlkExplorerJust left there after 3 days. Toads everywhere, small trailers to 44 ft dps. Very nice park lots of space between spots. Bear and a big elk heard were present so follow the rules.

- DamdifinoExplorerOP. So I showed up at the gate just in case and the ranger/warden/agent said yes, the Web site is totally confusing and wrong and is a "glitch." Whoever wrote that should be sent to be re-educated. Anyway, she sent me to a very nice site, secluded, surrounded by plenty of similar sites, all empty. Problem solved.

- toedtoesExplorer IIII'm not sure why this is confusing? You can have one RV and one vehicle per site as long as the vehicle is towed by or is towing the RV.
If you use a tent AND an RV, then you cannot also have a vehicle towed BY the RV. - VeebyesExplorer IIIf that were the case there would be nothing but Class Bs, Cs & tenters. No trailers. You just know that is not going to happen.
Stayed there early in season last year. Snow still on the ground & half the loops not open then. - Dog_FolksExplorer

Why dont you just call them and put this to rest in a one minute tel call with the source?
My thoughts also.
Get the name of the person you talk to, just in case there is any confusion among staff. - 4X4DodgerExplorer IIWhy dont you just call them and put this to rest in a one minute tel call with the source?
- toedtoesExplorer IIIPer the website:
Maximum Vehicles per Site:
Camping: 1 vehicle. Exceptions for RVs towing a vehicle. If you have two camping units (2 tents or 1 RV/camper and 1 tent), no tow vehicles are allowed.
What they are saying is that there is only 1 vehicle and one RV allowed per campsite. You can drive a truck and tow a trailer OR drive a MH and tow a car.
The part about the two camping units is because folks will have one family arrive in an MH and another arrive in a car and say that the MH towed the car.
