We are currently staying at Riverside for the winter. I would highly recommend Riverside just for its proximity to town. 2 minute drive/20 min walk to the village. The other park is a ~10 minute drive south.

One item to note when you make reservations, only a fraction of the sites are 50amp, so if you require that, make sure you specifically request it.

Overall, great park.

Well reading between those lines I see....an invite to come to your RV while you in Whistler and party!!! I accept, too. Hope there's a pool..is there a pool? Take the place with a pool.

Agreed, we picked Riverside for its location. Very nice operation.

Riverside is within easy walking or biking distance to everything. Sites are nice but on the small (narrow) side. They don't "officially" reserve specific spots but you can definitely ask. Take a look at the resort map to see which sites would likely work for you. Google maps on satellite view zoom in pretty well on the RV park. Reserve now to ensure you get one of the spots in the "lower" area. We like the sites in C8-C12 and D1-D5 the best as they are probably the longest sites and have a nice green space behind each site. Riverside is good example of a typical RV park.

Whistler RV park is approx. 10 miles south of Whistler so you would definitely need to "drive" into town. The sites are slightly larger than Riverside although mostly dirt. Spectacular views of the valley though as you are kind of up the side of a mountain looking across the valley. Whistler RV Park is more of a rustic RV Park (kind of like a State Park).

Gary, well I sorta did....just gotta read between the lines. "during the 2nd week of June" isn't exactly saying were were going to be staying there... sorry about that.

So Jay, would you recommend Riverside over Whistler rv park?

We stayed at Riverside in September. Very nice operation. Their website provides a good representation of what one can expect there. It's about a half-hour walk to the Village along the Valley Trail.
