Always take precautions. Imagine Chicago after 9 at night! Yikes. I was in Guadalajara last week working four days. Went everywhere, ate out twice a day in different parts of town. Up and out at 5:30 walking and going to the gym nearby. No issues, no fears. They're not interested in me. Remember, it's all about instilling fear in people. Life doesn't stop.
Friends in Chicago still go out for dinner at night, kids have to play, but they too take precautions. Cartels are well-embedded throughout the world.
