Williams AZ to Suwanee GA

There is a real nice campground just outside of Oklahoma City.Mustang Run has full hookups, all sites and all roads are concrete.They have a dog run and a pool. The bathrooms are immaculate. $45 a night for full hookups and cable.

You asked for the most direct route: it's I-40 to Memphis then I-22/20 - 1780 miles.

If you have time then getting off the interstates would be our choice even if it's not the direct route. Look on a map and pick out things you want to see enroute. Then connect the dots.

There is great campground west of OK City at Weatherford, OK called Wanderlust Crossings. It just opened in early 2017. There is not much to see in the area, but it is one of the best RV campgrounds the I've seen. It is fr enough off I-40 to be very quiet. The family that built it, were Class A owners and used their experiences to put all the needed features in for big rigs. We stayed there with our class C towing on our way from Nashville, TN to Las Vegas in October 2017.

Have you used the Good Sam trip planner? See what it suggests. I-40 is the most likely route to Nashville and then I-24 to Chattanooga then I-75 to the Atlanta area. If you do happen to stay in the Amarillo area go have dinner at the Big Texas Steak Ranch.

Concerning the Oasis RV park in Amarillo. While it's top-rated it has the unfortunate distinction of being located just a mile or so East of a major cattle feedlot. When the wind is blowing from the wrong direction the odor is unpleasant. This year we're staying at the Fort Amarillo RV Park which is further East.

Exit 108 on I-40 in NM is about 300 miles from Williams and has the Dancing Eagle RV park and Casino. There is also a grocery store with a good deli and fuel stations. The RV park is just a gravel lot with back in and pull through spaces but the prices are reasonable. If you want to take the time you can drive 12 mi south on NM23 to Sky City Museum and Acoma Pueblo, one of the continuously occupied mesa top pueblos.

I live a hour from suwanee. Only advice I have is don't drive anywhere close to atlanta between 6 am and 10 am and 3 pm to 7 pm it's a nightmare with a camper
