Winter Trip to South America
Our new(2003 Bigfoot 2500) is on the high seas on the way to Cartegena. The bedeviling procedure to get something shipped is enough to drive you crazy. You lose control of the process working with a shipper and really don't understand what is going on, but they do this every day and it is no big deal--to them-crazy. So we obviously won't be in Mexico this winter as we fly to Cartegena on Saturday night.
Our extensive plans besides getting the TC out of hock from the port take us all of 3 or 4 days to Tayona NP beaches and 1 hour trip to Minca and the bird reserve on the side of the Sierra Nevada de Ruiz which is 17,400 feet high. The following 5-6 months are just following our noses with trips to Machu Pichu and the Galapagos in there somewhere.
