I don't count the roads I know are rough and we go down knowing that. Just to see what we can see, without a mob of people around us.
Like Cathedral Rocks Road near capital Reef:

That brought us here:
We didn't see anyone all day until a Forest Service truck went by and the guys said Hi. There was not one busy buddy Ranger to keep us away from the rim, indeed we sat there and soak in the solitude with our feet dangling over the side. And some lucky people were camping within 10 feet of the rim, we saw their tents but they were out.
