I'm with rwbradley 100%. including along I75 guide book, especially for a first trip to FL.
We're about 40 minutes south of you (visit kids and grandkids in Wasaga weekly). If we leave early 6-7 am. we generally get about 1/2 through KY by supper. We will look for Walmart (check with mgr first), truck stop etc. We found that the welcome centres/rest areas fill up early in the evening. Campgrounds, from KY south will be open all year.
Watch the weather forecasts and be prepared to park for a bit if you bad snow storms. Your used to driving in bad weather, probably not with a trailer and even in Ohio, snow clearing is not what its like here. Ever seen 2 half ton pickups with small blades trying to clear a Walmart parking lot of 12inches of snow. Two of the worst snow storms we've travelled in actually parked and waited, have been in Ohio.
