We were there in Mid May for 4 days. We could have used one or 2 more. Somethings weren't open at that time but it still was a good trip. We stayed in Madison Campground. There were only 3 open and Madison was the most centrally located. The weather was good,sunny and high 50's or low 60's. At night it dropped into the 40's or high 30's. I would suggest making reservations at the Old Faithful Inn. It's supposed to be the largest log structure in the world. The lobby is beautiful and the food was good. We saw a mother grizzly and 3 cubs on the road from Norris to Canyon.
