Yosemite (Groveland) to Monterey CA
I originally posted a question re route from Groveland CA to Mendocino CA. Now plans have changed and we are heading down to Monterey (Marina Dunes RV Park) from Yosemite and Groveland. Any comments...

When you get to Hwy 49, go south to hwy 140 into Merced. Hwy 59 out of Merced to hwy 152 toward Los Banos. When you get to the 152/156 split, take 156 south to hwy 101. After a few miles 156 departs 101. Follow 156 to hwy 1 south to Marina.
It's a bit of a walk in the sand, but the ocean is close to Dunes RV park.
