Oh fellow 11Bravo, Going to the Sun Road! What a drive! Patient waiting? Didn't we learn that....in our Army? Lol

Living just outside Glacier National Park, we wait patiently each year for our snow plow crews to open the Going to the Sun Road. They begin plowing in April and don't finish until mid June to early July. The "Big Drift" near the top of Logan Pass is 80-120 feet deep and takes a week or longer to clear.

The road isn't open yet, but we are hoping it will be this week!
