Somewhere's between Prince George and Terrace? We are out for 10 days as of today...leaving Kitimat and going over to Purden Lake..just east pf PG..and some shopping IN PG, of course. Flash and honk if you pass us by...your lights..flash your lights. geeeeeeez.....

If you have a CB, I run on 19 and LAD 1, VHF.

  • Hey..thanks for that. Some gal in PG was whining about how far from cg to lake. Going to check out the fishing. hahahah...who am I kidding...I don't fish. I have the gear and a kayak but haven't much of clue. I am however, designated camp cook for Sharon and my sister. Gonna try making Beingets to have with morning coffee.

Do a Costco food shop Sunday and get doin....

Did a 4 wheel scouting drive down to the Skeena River yesterday at Kitsigukla.

    alaska dennis,
we're heading to homer and want to take an 'excursion' from there...we would love to go to dutch harbor...any ideas the best way to get there?
if not dutch harbor, any other adventures out of homer?
    thanks

The alaska ferry goes out to Dutch harbor every other week this summer. I looked no cabins available . If you can catch a ride on the ferry with a cabin it is a wonderful trip out to the aleutians.
Check this schedule and see if anything looks good. I do not have sea legs so the trip out to Dutch is out of the question for me.

Names Paul and Corrine Foley ring any chimes? He was skipper on a fish boat and they had a shop of some kind in town.

    Thanks Dennis.

Hey...how long have you lived in Homer? I know some folks that lived there but it was 20 years ago, now.
