Yucatan opportunity
I am doing a scouting trip to the Yucatan in January for a commercial caravan route. Updating road logs etc. My group are former cusotmers. One of them has to return to the US at the end of February for a hip replacement. This would be from Villahermosa to Mission Texas (3-4 days). They do not want to drive it alone, although I will provide directions. So here is a proposition. If anyone wants to travel with them, they can come along on this almost free caravan crossing at Laredo on Jan 5th. There will be some costs involved, you pay your own parks. The company is providing tours, at cost, enroute, (but you have no obligation to take them), but I have to know beforehand. The route loosely is Laredo, Saltillo, Zacatecas, Guanajuato, Pazcuaro, Monarchs, Mexico City, Emerald Coast, Veracruz, Merida, Campeche, Cancun, Maya coast, Villahermosa. You would have to leave with the couple who has to return on Feb 28th, unless last minute circumstances for it change (IE operation is postponed), in which case you can do the remainder of the trip if you wish. (exit Nogales end of March)
We may have somebody already for this but they cannot tell me for a few days. If that does not work out and it interests you, PM me. I can let you know by next week.
