Yukon in winter

The days and nights have been stunning the past few weeks. This past weekend was especially brilliant with bright sun, amazing sunsets and some northern lights. Temps at about -5C (23F); a bit warm in the sunshine, even melting some of the snow!

It is quiet on this RV.net forum through the winter so I figure it's a good time to share the beauty of the north this time of year.

    Tonight I walked the dogs on one of our bush trails, under the light of the half moon. No headlamp needed, the moon is so bright and reflects off the snow!

    We live in high-definition!

    Only -6C (17F) so needed to keep my parka unzipped. Just too warm!

    Beginning to wonder if the Grinch stole winter this year!??

    Pictures are lovely. Down here in Texas we are having some 'bad' weather for us including ice and snow. Where I am (Houston) it is just miserable cold and raining ... no freezing, thank goodness, since none of us can handle the snow and especially not the ice.

    I've been following your photos on FB. Keep them coming! Your scenery is as beautiful in the winter as it was on our drive on the Alaska Highway this past summer.
