All solar is on the roof.
Have to run the gen when using AC, takes two units to cool the rig. We tried to stay high enough in the mountains to limit gen use. Mostly successful. No replacement for a gen when it is hot and you need AC. Leg home was just too hot so we also used the shore power. Sorry about not being clear.

Thanks for clarification. I traded trailers since I had my portable solar generator built. my plan was to sit the generator in the sun and my trailer under the shade of tree. Still plan on doing that but when I upgraded trailers, my new (to me) trailer had an on-board onan 3600 lp generator. Was a little skeptical when I was negociating the trade but now that I have used it I'm a fan. it has remote start which makes it even more user friendly :)
