A couple of pics from our stay at Jordan Lake SP Crosswinds

We haven't been in over a year. This still remains one of our favorites as far as the size and quality of the sites. The distance between you and another site is really good and there isn't anyone behind you. The tree coverage and shade is unbelievable. We played cards by the fire and walked a trail and met a really cool retired couple on their maiden camping voyage! I passed on all the info I could think of just like someone did for me when we first started.
We had supper Saturday evening at the S&T Soda Shop in Pittsboro NC. Highly recommend, great food at reasonable prices. The ice cream creations are insane.

  • B026. We really like B section the best as the sites are more level and pretty deep. I can't remember if it's B16,17, or 18 we liked before, but it's over 100 feet back.
  • Looks great......someone is very, very relaxed! And that is the way it's supposed to be:B

Thanks for the pictures! We're gonna have to put this place on our list! Not to far from home either!:)

    What site were you in?
  • Thanks for the post....looks great......I started my teaching career in Pittsboro :-)
