That "warning" shows up for lots of reasons, nearly all of which have nothing to do with some sort of contagious horrible viral infection or something. More often than not, it's the credit card portion of the site that's been "compromised"- looking at the pages can't hurt one.
Best check (for me) is to click-and-see...if my either my browser or my own firewall gives a warning, then I'm out. If they don't, I'm in.
